Welcome to Spring Lake Church

As a ministry, it’s our desire to become men of character with hearts for God, our families, and the world. No one drifts into becoming a man like that. Rather, it happens over time as God forges our character through His Word, a relationship with His Son, Jesus, and the power of Christian community. Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” At Spring Lake Church, we believe that God would have all men be Christ centered and committed to getting to know Him better.

Men’s Core
The Men’s Core hopes to help this happen by teaching men God’s Word, by organizing opportunities for men to grow, and providing ways for men to serve the church and our community. Through a large group teaching time and small group accountability, men learn how to better serve God in their families, their work and in their home. Groups meet either on Tuesday evenings or Wednesday early mornings at the church. For more information, please contact Pastor Dan.

CORE4 Groups
These groups are designed specifically for accountability and encouragement between men to support one another in prayer as well as provide a place where men can share how God is shaping them in their daily lives. Men’s Breakfast
Come hungry and leave happy. Every quarter, our men’s ministry hosts a Saturday morning event which includes a hearty breakfast along with a featured guest speaker to spark men to continue on in their walk of faith. This also is a perfect event for meeting new people and plugging into other men’s ministry groups. Check out the calendar for the next breakfast.

Men’s Retreat
Each Spring, the men’s ministry hosts a weekend away where men have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of recreation activities as well focus on a specific topic of interest pertinent to their daily lives. These retreats are often a highlight for men in our church because they provide them not only with an extended time of learning but a chance to get to build stronger relationships with other men at Spring Lake. Wild Game Dinner
This event is our primary outreach avenue to bring in new people from the community who are interested in learning not only more about the outdoors, hunting, and fishing but also willing to taste a variety of game prepared by some core members of our men’s ministry. A presentation following the dinner from a nationally-renowned speaker in the field of hunting and fishing tops off the event where men are also able to connect their love of the outdoors with their love of the One who created it. Aim for the Heart
This ministry gives men an opportunity to better their archery skills as well as learn how these skills can often be applied to the place where God wants to work change in us, our hearts. The group meets on Wednesday evenings on a seasonal basis. For more information, please contact Randy Malcore.
