Women matter to God.  As a ministry, we long to see women both find and fall in love with Jesus Christ.  The Women’s Ministry at SLC works hard to provide a safe place for you to be who you are while challenging you to become the woman God wants you to be.  To that end we faithfully teach God’s Word, while providing ways for women to be mentored, encouraged, and have fun. 

Oasis for Moms

Moms need a place in which to find refreshment both in relationships as well as in their walk with God.  Oasis is a ministry tailored to moms who take time out in their Thursday mornings to learn from God`s word as well as enjoy fellowship together with other moms in similar life stages.  For more information about getting involved in Oasis, please contact Kristin Wevley.

Women’s Bible Studies

Healing Hearts

Healing Hearts is a ministry designed to walk alongside women who have experienced the effects of post-abortion trauma as well as other painful or difficult life circumstances.  For more information, please contact Lesley Swanson. Your information will be kept confidential. 

Titus 2 Mentoring Ministry

We are aware of the great need in our culture and church to pass on to the next generation a legacy of Biblical womanhood.  In the book of Titus, there is a mandate for older women to establish and equip younger women.  Currently we have a mentoring training series designed to fulfill that mandate.  For more information about our mentoring ministry, please contact Neoma Cooper.

Women’s Retreat

Every year the women`s ministry team is intentional about offering a weekend designated for the women of Spring Lake to have time to specifically focus on an area of their lives that God might be calling them to examine as well as spend more intensive one on one time with other women.  Every other year, either an offsite retreat is offered or an on-campus conference weekend.  For this year`s Women`s Retreat brochure click here.

"A Second Cup" Newsletter

Our women`s ministry team also offers a newsletter to keep women informed about what God is doing in their lives and in the women`s ministry as well as a chance to highlight some specific people who are willing to share in more detail a little of their story.
