Discover SLC
The Discover Class is the first step for many who want to learn more about the church. This class introduces you to the staff, beliefs, and strategy of Spring Lake Church. This one hour opportunity is offered roughly every other month during our Sunday Services. Contact
Kristin Wevley
for the next Discover Class opportunity.
Exploring Membership
Membership matters at SLC. It is recommended that you are involved with Spring Lake Church at least 6 months before pursuing membership. This six hour course will take you through the basic beliefs of the Evangelical Free Church denomination, as well as our Grow, Belong, and Share strategy. Once the course is completed, prospective members are then interviewed by a team of elders (2) and officially welcomed into membership. Contact
Kristin Wevley
for the next Membership Class opportunity.
Foundations
This 16 chapter basic discipleship course is a great way to learn and/or be reminded of the basics of the Christian faith. This book can be used alone, but it is best applied when studied with a mentor or Character Group. The completion of this book (or comparable training) is required for all teachers and ministry leaders at Spring Lake Church. For more information, contact
Kristin Wevley

Character Groups
At SLC, we call our small groups, Character Groups to remind us of our character vision. These cross-gender, community-based groups meet in various home throughout the Green Bay area. Groups help each other Grow, Belong and Share by meeting together on a regular basis for study, prayer and accountability. For more information, contact
Pastor Bradley
.
CORE4 Groups
These groups are designed specifically for accountability and encouragement between a smaller number of same gender individuals (typically 3-5 people). In these groups individuals also support one another through prayer and share how God is shaping them in their daily lives. Group meeting times vary. For more information about getting involved in a CORE4 group, please contact
Pastor Dan

House of Prayer
The House of Prayer is a vital ministry made up of those who wish to pray for the concerns of our Spring Lake Church family and ministries. When prayer requests are submitted to the House of Prayer, all team members are contacted via an email message. All participants agree to keep requests confidential. To submit a prayer request, fill out the prayer request section on the Connection Cards found in your bulletin and place them in the offering plates on Sunday mornings -or- email the
House of Prayer
. To join the House of Prayer team...send an email message to
Beth Macco
in the church office. Please include your full name, phone number and the email address you prefer the requests get sent to.
