Our purpose as a worship team, in becoming a people of character with hearts for the world, is to allow God to use us as humble servants point our people in the direction of Christ and His love for us.  When we accurately see who we are in light of who God is, it causes each of us to be humbled by God’s love for us found at the cross.  It is our role as worship team members to communicate that incredible love through the avenues of music, message and media.  There are two primary areas of service within our worship ministry:

Audio and Video Teams

These teams are responsible for making sure the music, message and media elements of our Sunday morning worship services are clearly communicated.  Service within these areas requires a basic working knowledge of computers and/or sound equipment with a willingness to learn.  These team members have the gift of service and are typically people who enjoy working with technology but would prefer not to be in an ‘upfront’ position of service.  Commitment is approximately one Sunday per month.  For more information, please contact Pastor Aaron.

Worship Team Vocalists and Instrumentalists

These teams are responsible for the music portions of our Sunday morning worship services as well as other worship opportunities here at the church.  Service within these areas requires a person be attending Spring Lake for at least six months, a passion and giftedness for music but most importantly, a heart of service and humility.  An informal interview and audition is the first step toward becoming part of the team.  Commitment is approximately one to two Sunday mornings and rehearsals per month.  For more information, please contact Pastor Aaron.
