Groups

We're better together.

We believe that Groups are the best environment for spiritual growth for everyone. They are the place where our mission as a church is best lived out: Loving God, Maturing in His Character, and Reaching the World.

Connect Groups

Connect Groups are opportunities to meet other people from Spring Lake specifically over the summer months (June-August).

Connect Groups are centered on people participating in a shared activity/hobby that provides a fun common ground. The kinds of opportunities that Connect Groups provide are only limited to the availability/interest of the leaders, the sky’s the limit!

Examples of Connect Groups are: running group, hiking group, pickle ball group, coffee group, photography group, etc.

Hispanic Gathering

During the summer of 2023, we’re going to pilot a ministry environment that will focus on our Spanish speaking neighbors. To help, we’re bringing in a ministry intern, Vladimir Kalabujov, who is fluent in Spanish. Vladimir is originally from Uruguay and is currently a student in a bible college in Texas.

Starting on June 4, 2023, we’re inviting Spanish speakers to join a weekly Hispanic Gathering. The gathering will meet at the Downtown Campus during the 10:30am service. Gathering attenders will share the same lobby as the rest of our church family and families with kids will utilize our Downtown Kids Ministry. Vladimir will lead the Hispanic Gathering in relational connection, studying God’s word together, and spiritually supporting one another.

For questions or more information, please contact Vladimir at vladimir@springlakechurch.org

Biblical Counseling

We live in a broken world. That brokenness is evident in the heartaches and hurts of offenses done against us as well as our own offenses that we’ve committed against others. We may find ourselves in our own prison, wondering if we will ever experience true freedom. The good news is that into our broken world, God sent a Savior to bring hope in the midst of the brokenness around us. Through Jesus, there is grace, forgiveness, restoration, and freedom.

Discipleship Toolbox

As a church, we have three key components to our mission: loving God, maturing in His character, and reaching the world for Christ. These three components are the heart of who we are and the framework for our discipleship. Whether through the sermon based study guides or the listed curriculum in our toolbox, our aim is to help one another grow into fully committed followers of Jesus. The framework provides a healthy balance of various studies meant to give a biblical foundation (Love), practical application (Mature), and faithful multiplication (Reach). Click below to find our Life Group curriculum within this three-fold framework.
